Appointment & Policy Overview
By booking an appointment, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined below. These policies are designed to protect both your time and ours, and to maintain a high standard of service.
 
Allergic Reaction & Patch Test 
Your safety and satisfaction are our top priorities. However, as with any beauty treatment involving cosmetic products, there is always a risk of allergic reaction.
 
Patch Tests:
A patch test is available and strongly recommended at least 24–48 hours before your appointment for brow tinting, lamination, lash lifts, or any service involving chemical products.
It is the client’s responsibility to request and schedule a patch test in advance.

Allergic Reactions:
Even if a patch test is completed, it is still possible (though rare) to develop a reaction at a later time.
We use professional-grade, reputable products, but individual sensitivities can vary. In the event of an allergic reaction, no refunds will be issued.
If you experience any adverse symptoms after your service (such as excessive swelling, redness, or irritation), please seek medical advice promptly. We are not liable for reactions that occur despite patch testing or after services have been performed.

Deposit 
A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking and is processed automatically through our online scheduling system. This deposit secures your appointment and confirms your time slot.
Please ensure you are certain about booking your appointment before proceeding. Deposits are non-refundable and may not be used toward cancellations under any circumstances.
However, if you need to reschedule, your deposit will be transferred to your new appointment, provided the rescheduling is done at least 24 hours in advance. Rescheduling beyond this limit or within the notice period will require a new deposit.
 
Rescheduling & Cancellations
We understand that unforeseen situations may arise. If you need to adjust your appointment, the following policies apply:
 
• Rescheduling is permitted up to one time and must be completed via the rescheduling link in your confirmation email or by contacting us directly.
• Cancellations must be made through e-mail at solosnbeauty@outlook.com 
(Please note: no cancellation link is included in the confirmation email.)
 
Fees for short-notice changes:
- Less than 24 hours notice: Deposit will be forfeited.
- Within 8 hours of appointment: 75% of the scheduled service fee will be charged.
- No-shows: 100% of the service fee will be charged.
 
All fees must be paid before future appointments can be booked.
These terms apply to both online and in-person bookings.
 
Late Arrival
Punctuality is essential to ensure the best possible service. If you are running late, please notify us as soon as possible.
Clients arriving more than 10 minutes late will be considered a no-show, and the appointment will be cancelled. In this case, the full service fee will be charged, and a new deposit will be required to rebook.
We reserve this time specifically for you, and late arrivals impact both the quality of your treatment and our schedule with other clients.
 
Guest
To maintain a focused, hygienic, and safe environment, we kindly request that you attend your appointment alone.
Additional guests, including children, are not permitted in the treatment area under any circumstances. We appreciate your understanding and respect for this policy.
 
Additional information 
We proudly serve a diverse clientele and are fluent in Spanish, Papiamento, Dutch, and English.
Services are provided in a private, home-based studio. The exact location will be shared upon confirmation of your booking. Please respect the privacy and professionalism of the space.
 
How to prepare for your appointment 
To ensure the best possible results for your brow service or lash lift, please follow these guidelines before your appointment:
• Arrive with a clean, makeup-free face, especially around the eye and brow area. This ensures better product performance and hygiene.
• Avoid applying oils, moisturizers, or sunscreen around your eyes and brows on the day of your appointment.
• Discontinue the use of retinol, AHA/BHA, or exfoliants near the brow area at least 72 hours prior to your appointment to avoid sensitivity or irritation.
• Avoid caffeine beforehand, as it can make your eyes twitch and reduce comfort during a lash lift.
• Do not tweeze, wax, or tint your brows at home before your appointment, we will shape and customize them for you.
• For lash lifts, please do not wear mascara to your appointment. Clean, product-free lashes will give the best results.
• If you wear contact lenses, please bring a case and solution, as they may need to be removed for lash lift treatments.
